How can I help?
In order to make Walter’s Run a successful and safe race each year, we need an army of volunteers. If you can’t run our race, how about volunteering? You’ll be working with other members of the Parkway Running Club, arguably the most friendly running club in Boston. Also, teenagers and young adults who need volunteer hours for school, scouts or other activities can use Walter’s Run to fulfill such requirements.
We need volunteers to help out before the race at registration, food preparation, handing out our swag bags and gloves, directing our kid’s race or pointing runners to the starting line.
During the race, runners pass by many corners, we need volunteers at every one of these corners to cheer on the athletes, point them in the right direction and most especially, protect them from any on-coming traffic.
If you are interested in volunteering for Walter’s Run, we’d love to have you. Please complete this form/waiver to participate. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch.
